Kevin Namatjira, grandson of Albert Namatjira, was born in 1958. His parents were Maurice Namtjira and Epana. He was one of seven children. Kevin was taught to paint by his father but has developed his own bold style. In late 2013 he travelled to England with his cousin Lenie Natjira as part of the BigHart production of the play "Namatjira". While there he visited Bucking ham Palace and presented Queen Elizabeth II with one of his paintings. Examples of work can be found in various art galleries around Australia including the Parliament House Collection in Canberra.
